Academic Service Center makes offers in royal ceremony

       The Center for Academic Services organized a royal offer ceremony at the Pa Mahavanaram temple in Muang district, Khon Kaen on the 26th of October 2013. Offers were made of 719,919 baht in total.

      Assoc. Prof. Dr. Amnouy Kamtuo, Director of the Academic Service Center made offers in a royal ceremony at the Pa Mahanaram temple in Muang district, Khon Kaen on the 26th of October 2013 under order number 93928 of the royal household issued on the 4th of October 2013.

       Assoc. Prof. Dr. Amnouy talked about the importance of the royal ceremony at the Pa Mahanaram temple in Muang district, Khon Kaen. He said: “Khon Kaen University places importance on the responsibilities to society (university social responsibility: USR) set as management strategy under strategy number 9 of community relations. The Center for Academic Services executes work in care for the surrounding community of KKU as follows: 1) Cooperation with surrounding organizations in organizing Coffee Council meetings to take care of the community which resulted in joint patrols of the 8th Infantry Regiment and the community, building a sports field for the community, renovate homes and donations of kitchenware low income people, organization of building projects of homes and school buildings in cooperation with the DPS and initiating cooperation with the Siratchochai School to develop mathematics education. In addition, a budget is allocated to a model sufficiency economy village, for the Faculty of Nursing to develop a model health village.”

       “To communicate and build good relations between the surrounding community of KKU, the Center for Academic Services made the royal donations at the Pa Mahanaram temple in Non Muang Village Sila sub-district, Muang district, Khon Kaen to give the community and Khon Kaen University joint activities and to benefit the public. There were many participants among whom administrators of Khon Kaen University, private companies and the community making donations of 719,919 baht in total.”
